Kansas COVID-19 Election Information:

  • The Democratic Presidential Primary scheduled for May 2 will be held solely by mail-in ballots according to the Kansas Democratic Party, March 30, 2020
    • All registered voters registered with the Democratic Party should receive ballots automatically by April 10. If you have not received your ballot by that date, the deadline to request a ballot is April 24
    • Completed ballots must be returned by received by May 2 but should be mailed as early as possible

    • The 7th Congressional District Special Election on April 28 has not been postponed but will be taking place exclusively by mail.

New York

New York COVID-19 Election Information:

  • The Presidential Primary Election was cancelled by New York Board of Elections, but a federal judge has issued an order to reinstate it. Further details will be posted as they become available.
  • New York will still hold congressional and state-level primaries on June 23, 2020.
    • All eligible voters can vote absentee as "temporary illness" has been expanded to include the potential to contract COVID-19 for elections through June 23, 2020 by an executive order.
    • All voters eligible to vote in the remaining June 23 elections will be automatically mailed an absentee ballot application per an additional executive order.

    • All voters who do not wish to vote in person due to the COVID-19 pandemic are eligible to vote by mail following an announcement from the Secretary of State.
    • Absentee ballots must be postmarked by June 9 but should be sent as early as possible.

Wisconsin

Wisconsin COVID-19 Election Information:

  • As of April 6, 9:30PM CT: The April 7 election will be occurring as scheduled.
    • Completed absentee ballots must be postmarked no later than April 7 or returned in person by 8PM on April 7.
    • Voters who have requested an absentee ballot are still able to vote in person as long as they have not returned their ballot in the mail.
    • The Governor's executive order to postpone the election was overturned by a Wisconsin Supreme Court ruling.
